Dude knows his stuff, which is why y'all need to sub to Diego right now.
I really like the tag team effort here! Just keeps getting better!
Not speaking about you or Curtis, but why does farming attract so many cheap weasels that don't think they should have any financial inputs into their farm. It's a BUSINESS. All businesses have investment expenses. So tired of the whining in the comment section. Grow up!
Well done Diego. Good coming from the outside of Curtis's perspective.
It's wonderful to see others like Diego or Justin take over your vlogs Curtis, because we get to see what you do through another set of eyes. It's these videos that really make me feel like I am there with you. I am trying to encourage you to allow more colleagues to take over your vlogs. Good work gentlemen!
Love this episode! Great video Diego! I can relate to this in so many ways
I appreciate the awesome clarity.
Great info ! Thank you !
Very good video, I really like it.
Wow, I am so glad we rarely have snow. The low tunnels are so great to keep shade cloth for our horrid heat and it is STILL HOT! Way above normal temps. Hopefully it will cool down a bit. Central Alabama is hot and humid from May to October usually, but last year we did not even have a winter. It was colder in April then the entire winter. Low tunnels work well for what we are doing. Not sure if I will even use the plastic. Will see, bought some but may not need it.
Wow. Great video.
This is awesome! Thanks! I only have 6 small boxes but it still is important to understand how to plant and rotate to eat it yourself.
In my climate the poly low tunnels, because of the early & potentially heavy snow, wouldn't work as well as they do in Kelowna. The caterpillar tunnels are a must not just for season extension but for the summer hail we get. One five minute storm turned my garden into mulch; it was a complete write off.
Great video and I do enjoy your channel posts very much Diego.
Like Diego said do good in one thing first. For a first time gardener, my basil is beautiful with big leaves but farm stand buyers want to pay between $6-9 per pound. I just have a lot of basil sitting in the greenhouse since I refused to sell it at that price.
Thanks to you and Curtis I've learnt heaps from you guys. thanks again. I'm from NZ and my wife and i are starting our own back yard garden project.
The radish is a way to celebrate your success. This is a mental boost, like a protein charge for the brain. Like getting a thank you. It doesn't put any money in your pocket, but, sure feels good.
Fantastic job by diego , informative and inspiring , I'm that guy sitting on go waiting to pull the trigger and just do it already. I like how he related to people like myself.fantastic!
So you would recommend caterpillar tunnels for someone who is growing in an area with high winds during the winter months?
Excellent!
Fantastic bits of inspiration. Appreciate the time you both invested in producing this video.
Schedule 40 pipes works well for me.
Your duo rocks guys! I’m not even at the half of this vlog and I’m just so happy about the great content your symbiosis makes. Thanks to both of you and keep doing your awesome work!
Aim for the stars; land on the moon.
Curtis Knows how to educate his subs.He even invites guest lecturers
Very intristed in moving to a rural area and farming. The down to earth advise you folks give is of great value.
Curtis…have you ever done a course at the Organic Farm at Serenbe, Georgia? If not and you'd like to, I'd love to help get you connected there.
I really like Diego, I really like his attitude outlook and he is very knowledgeable!
Diego You are right on fear of spending money when starting out. I thought the same on the Jang $500. man that's too much and it doesn't even plant corn now I need to buy another larger seed planting Jang. Ok maybe I start with Earthway seeder and not have the exact seeding Rate !
Good work on this video!
Curtis can you tell me the length of the catepiler metal arc???
I use a heavy gauge wire $20 for 100' for the hoops and 3 mil Husky clear plastic $7 Wal-Mart can make two 35 foot low tunnel
