Do you know how many "cc"s your tiller has?
We are hot and cold all the time. No snow. If we have a freeze, can wipe out everything, so have to have some protection and be on the ball. Sorry about having to cancel your trip. I totally understand. Love your videos!
Hey Curtis, I know this is a business, but do you still enjoy this?
do you keep thermometers in your cat tunnels? It'd be interesting to know what the air temps under the plastic was, using one of those basic digital models that records the high/low over the past 24 hrs.
That was very good.
I was shocked at how well things survived at my house too. I even had swiss chard and arugula survive with only minimal damage, with no protection other than the snow. Weird weather.
hey Curtis! I hate to be a douche, but what kind of shirt is that? I really dig it!
And if people have a problem with it then they can always step up and pay for your fare. All good Curtis.
Hope your weather stays pleasant there.
well gutted your not coming man, next time it is then from WGTN NZ.
Do you do periodic soil tests? Have you had to remineralize any plots or does your compost + fertilizer regimen suffice?
Come to AU!
Real shame about the NZ workshops!
You would sell out classes here in Adelaide, South Australia! Melbourne also has a large urban farming scene 😀 Please some to Australia!
Looking good …BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES lol
Come to Europe.
We had a bit over 10 inches of snow over night in SE Kelowna, yuk!
lettuce = $
Come to the UK 🙂
I could well imagine you saturating NZ pretty quickly, especially if you're going to the same area. NZrs are very self sufficient as well as tight on the $, so most would just watch your vids and do it.
Karrotz beatz the grim reaper for sure. The new zl iz surely beating the zensurship on highend farming but not much elze. The farming must have the noble purpose to emanzipate and not further oppress and enzlave…best to ur efforts they seem worthy of distinction from the noire farms but much more to dizkover…..cheerz mate!
Hi Curtis! Would you like to record a vlog where you interview your own employees/help at the farm? I enjoyed listening what the guy from JM in Montreal had to say…just to get also their perspective on this urban farming business. Thanks for your amazing work, you are a true source of inspiration!
how do you keep the snow from collapsing your caterpillar and low tunnels? What is the mechanism?
