The Frost is approaching, but until it arrives, our flower farm will still be productive and pumping out the bouquets for us to sell. Some of our plants, like the Sedums will survive past the frost, but we will still have an abundance of dried flowers to arrange afterwards. In this video Serina gives you a tour of of 2.5 acre farm from top to bottom, skipping all the veggies sections and just focusing on all the flowers or fillers we have growing right now. We have beautiful late summers here in Kelowna BC and now that the cooler nights have arrived, and some moisture along with it, things are very lush and happy after a long, very hot, very dry summer. My favourites, the zinnias, won’t be with us for much longer, so we make these videos as a journal of all we have accomplished during this season. If you enjoy our videos, please leave a like, as it means this video gets pushed out to a wider audience, and along with it our message to grow your own food, without the use of pesticides or herbicides, or support other local farmers who do.

Everyone is looking for an update on my, Serinas, health. I'm improving, and feel a lot better. But I'm still not 100% and back to work yet. It's seeming like the issue might be a stomach problem, not a breathing problem, so I'm on some new medications and might need some more tests.
That bouquet you are holding is absolutely stunning. The purple basil (especially the seed stems) and the spikey amaranth in it are are magnificent!
Of all the beautiful, wonderful flowers you grow, the blue statice is my very favorite, it just makes any bouquet you add it to POP! Enjoyed this one. By the way Ian, after all these videos it's pretty clear you have alot of feelings… for your wife, your kids, your farm and for life itself, so sorry but, you ain't foolin'no one LOL!
Do you know the name of the sedum variety?
Good to see you up and at it. So much to see and really still so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Your dried bouquets would probably sell well on etsy and other online shopping !
You sure have beautiful flowers!
Your bouquets are incredible.
Just wondering if you have tried New England Aster varieties in your perennial area. They bloom later and are supposed to be good cut flowers. They can really handle frost and they appreciate drier fall weather.
I miss you so much
Glad you are beginning to feel better. Hope it continues and you are able to discover the origin of the issue.
Hahaha
And beautiful!
Im really hoping one day you can have a heated greenhouse or many of them.
Everyone subscribe and hit like and comment!!!
Will you do a video on what you will and wont grow again next year please 🙂
Awesome! Can’t wait until our flowers look as great as yours.
whats the are area cultivate/lenght of the beds and how many products you got to sell a week
Please give us updates about your health. Hope you are feeling better
Missing you guys very much !!! Hope school is going well for your baby boy and I hope Serena you are feeling better !!! Thinking of you guys
Serina, hope that Autumn brings you the space you need to get fully well.
Welcome to Kelowna!!!! I like your hat at the end! lol
Serina, I was re watching your video on is o'reilly's 10 favorite fillers you did with Nicole and I'm I'm curious if you ever decided decided on the perennial grasses that you were going to to purchase for fillers… I'm currently working on my seed order and trying to determine what exactly experimental crops I'm going to grow for this year…
God Bless you all. Hugs.
Maybe try other varieties of dahlias. Try the Cornel and the Joey series, very prolific for me anyway.
Hope you feel better soon.
How's the farm market this week? I didn't see you posting new videos.. I'm always waiting to see the farm and the satisfying harvest by Serina❤️❤️
My flowers are still going to, but my zinnias my pink giants well there not blooming AS big and puffy there lil due to less sun. I have the black on there leaves to mold to dense at the bottom and not enough heat to dry it. Hey I wish u don't take this wrong at all, seriously when I say don't take it wrong lol! Your garden at heart and we tend to not care what we look like when it comes to adding more attractive clothing. I'm soo guilty of it to. When I'm outside 6hrs a day I'm tired. Plus taking care of kids. We pull our pretty healthy hair back and thro a hoody on. That's my most comfortable way ever!! But we need love to and a rewind day!! Your young Like me pretty like me! So I hope next summer you will put time for yourself and be selfish one a week. When we pamper our feet, hands, skin, it feels good it feels dam great lol. You have all potentials for selling more and at the same time feeling good about ourselves. I mentioned makeup before but that's not even an essential but putting your hair down and wearing somthing nicer than an old t-shirt lol to your market stand!! You put the flower crown on your husband…… it's neat and I love it but you need to look refreshed and not tired when selling. People are attractive to what looks better and a simple comfortable sun dress/hippy dress what ever they want to call them lol looks alot better on you than an t-shirt! Take 2 pictures a rainy cloudy pic or a sunny bright mountain pic what pic is gonna grab your eye? Easy question!! I hope Ian is supporting what I'm saying❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm a huge fan of you and your wonderful family!
that bouquet you are carrying at the begining of the video is just beautiful. hope you are healing .
Serena, you have to try Johnny's Blue Horizon Ageratum as a filler! It's tough, has a good vase life, and blooms from spring until frost.
where is your flowers farm location?
