VIDEO: HOW TO BUILD WOODEN SEEDLING TRAYS

Ian gets to work, and builds 20 wooden seedling trays, out of some scrap wood we had around the house. They are fairly simple to build, and a great plastic free way to use soil blocks for starting your seeds for your vegetable garden.

You need:
1 – 9 1/2 x 20 1/4 inch thin flat wood (we used plywood, but someone mentioned that some plywood is treated with chemicals you wouldn’t want in your food you are growing)
2 – 8 inch 1 x 3 board
1 – 19 1/2 inch 1 x 3 board

as well as screws or nails to hold the finished product together

These are a great little project if you have time this year
