You have some pretty chickens. A few look like they are wearing little puffy skirts!
Yes, you are going to be VERY busy! So glad your friend could come be with you! Don't stress too much over the plants, winter isn't done with us.
I can’t believe someone would steal chickens on your land, that is pretty desperate! I love that you said they took the 2 mean roosters…..
SEEEEE! Not everyone from California's a weirdo.
Awww, Ben is so beautiful he softly rubs the goats belly.
We had a rooster and a turkey that attacked my sister and law whenever she came around. Oh and my youngest daughter.
Love hearing the robins and birds!
The lavender Orpington You have. I have a brown one like yours named brownie. It looks like she has a long prom dress on!
Did you thought that if someone is capable of stealing it might not be good with animals ? If someone disregards and steals from others I doubt it will be treat those animals with dignity. And if the roosters were aggressive it won't help them…..
Found your channel through Kneady Homesteader and immediately subscribed after checking out a few of your videos.
I had some buff orpington roosters that were horrible. I was thinking about the time one attacked my 3 year old grandaughter and how terrified I would be if a rooster as big as myself attacked me! A new perspective. One thing I have noticed is if the roosters are raised by hens they are nicer. Or maybe just the orpington breed is nasty.
Do orphington chickens do well in this Arkansas summer heat? I was thinking of doing a half buff & half jublee orphington flock myself. Being a little farther south than you guys are didn't know if the heat would be tuff on the breed.
Smelling the greenhouse…so agree. Oxygen therapy. I suffer from migraines and we went to a nursery in the city to look for a specific plant. I had a migraine that day. As we walked around I noticed my headache was becoming less and less. The oxygen just oozes in there. Our greenhouses are going up soon and I will totally enjoy the oxygen and the smell of a migraine loosing it's grip. ❤
Thanks for sharing gold Shaw farm. I’m on the boarder of vt. In nh. So I am so excited!11
The frigid north? High of 32 on Thursday. 80% chance of snow. 2 months away from last frost date. That's strategic gardening lol
I just discovered your videos and I am hooked! You and your family are adorable and I love how open and down-to-earth you are! Thanks for showing the trellis video as that is my hubby's next project! We love Bull Shoals Lake area so hope to meet you in Arkansas someday! Love to you and yours,
From Missouri!
I used to have a blue silkie rooster that used to attack people so one day we had enough and took it to the woods and we could still here it crowing and then like a week later it made it way back to our barn.
Justice was served for sure lol
