In this video I show you how I set up the drip irrigation in the tomato bucket garden. Irrigation setup really is a simple process when you do a little homework. It’s really worth the effort and saves time and water and really provides peace of mind. Thanks for watching!

Your bucket system is top notch buddy! Come on 20 mins of hooking up the lines sounds great
Nice!!! Really like the drip system your using, them maters will love ya for it!!! Dan
Oppe – My tomato plants are about your same size (weird weather this year). I like your manner at putting people at ease with trying drip irrigation. I use drip irrigation for my pots only. My plot is so small that I only use soaker hoses and hand watering. I will be using more of it in AZ. I can tell you think driveways are over rated too!
Really cool watering system you got there buddy. Thanks for sharing how you setup all this up. Hope you have a Happy 4th my friend!
I've never used drip irrigation. The setup looks really straight-forward and foolproof, and being a gadget man, I kinda want to try it some day. Great explanation Opie!
Awesome setup you have there Oppe. We are actually putting one together this week. I noticed I need to add more things to make it complete like the automatic timer. I just have not found the perfect one I want just yet so I just might connect it to the faucet until I find the right one. Funny thing is I have had this drip irrigation system for about a year now. lol
Thanks for sharing.
That’s a pretty good system you have there.
Good job. I have been using buckets for 15 years now, but will start using a form of your irrigation system !!
Nice video, thank you for sharing you experience. I was wondering about what you have found through trial and error is the most appropriate automatic watering timer duration and interval to use in a set up like you have for tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets during hotter weather dry summer months? Something like every day in the morning for 15 minutes? thanks
