  1. Are the varieties you are growing heirlooms, hybrids, or a combination? I know Wisconsin 55 is an heirloom. It's interesting to me that the two heirlooms I'm growing have set flowers and fruit before the hybrids, even though they have longer maturity dates than the hybrids.

  3. Good timing! I just bought my plants, and will dig them in tomorrow. I was envisioning adding compost or something — but stuffing the straw back in makes sense! Pretty excited to see this in action!
