Hey Curtis, huge fan, have been watching your vlogs and videos for a couple years now, your awesome man. Im not too good at the communications part of what i am trying to do in my own home town, but i am driven to start my own urban farm, ive had a small aquaponics system for a couple years now, i have accumulated a greenhouse and a building for my microgreens, i just dont have a clue as to where to start trying to break the ice for green living and farming in my community. So my question is, if i intend on devoting my time, career, and life to changing this disrupted system, what is the most efficient way of doing so, so that i have a better chance for a boom in business to get me through the first hard period of breaking that Ice in my community meanwhile giving myself a market and a name.
Here in Japan, farmers tend to leave the old crop to rot into the soil. Why do you pull it all out and start fresh?

I have the same seeder shown (different colour). It consistently misses seed placement, so I have gone back to manual means. Do you find it skips a lot in seeding?
Is it turkey manure you were spreading?
curtis what do you think about leaving roots behind for the ground? Is it just not worth it because it would fux up the tilther and wheel seeder?

Hi Curtis. Loved the book, and just now getting started with the videos. I have a question about the tilther you are using (which may be answered in a future video). My understanding is that you remove and compost the green crop residue because you don't have time for it to rot in the soil. If you did have time, and left the crop residue on the surface, would the tilther be effective at shredding it and integrating it into the top inch of soil? I'm asking because I'd like to try a bed preparation method where I chop (don't pull) my cover crop, run the tilther over it, then seed it a few weeks later. Do you think the tilther would be up for the job?

Hi Curtis, thanks so much for your material! Please did you ever leave the roots of vegetables in the ground to slowly rot and release nutrients whilst helping with avoiding compaction? If yes, did it work for you? What are you views on this? Thanks again.
How do you maintain the correct nutrients in the soil for each crop . Seeing that you turnover so quickly. Since different plants sometime require different soil types?
Have you tried using the tilther to work greens back into soil instead of pulling them out?
Can the tilther not turn in the previous crop?
