  1. My favourite flavours are pea and mint, hibiscus and orange, and any or all of the berries. I found a gorgeous 20 litre crock in a charity store last year and have been chasing a stainless steel tap for ages. I might have to look for a spigot instead 😀

  2. I used to make kombucha but stopped. I think it may have caused my candida to overgrow, that is something I never want to go through again.

  3. Okay the several reasons why someone can have acid reflux. Me because I'm overweight I haven't seen your husband not making a judgment on that. Two if I eat gluten. So if he hasn't been tested for gluten you have to eat something that has gluten in it before your blood test. Three is sleep apnea. For another medical issue. If you take a little piece of wood and you put it at the end of the legs on your headboard. About an inch. That will help with your acid reflux as well.

  4. I've been eyeing a crock from a ceramic artist I follow but I haven't committed to it yet. I just use half gallon mason jars and cloth napkin. Mason jar fits better on my limited counter space. For flavors I like to use scraps from other projects. Skins from making jellied cranberry sauce. The pulp leftover from making raspberry jam. Skins from canning peaches. Sweet cherry pits. Pineapple cores. Mango seeds. These usually have enough fruit left on them to flavor the booch.

  5. i dont do continuous brewing i do have a 3 and a 5 litre glass jars with spigots which fit in my dishwasher and mess free fill botles im a zero waste vegan my favorite flavour is the one that im drink at the time happy brewing sista

  6. I love kombucha and would love to learn how to make it. I did some water kefir for awhile, but I much prefer kombucha. This set up is really pretty! Can't wait to see how you use it.

  7. I bought the book your sister recommended. Enjoying learning. Very intrigued by the SCOBY candy recipe!! Not sure if I'm up for that. When I mentioned it to my daughter she reminded me that she had her placenta capsulized. LOL
