Any tricks for getting rid of squirrels and gophers
Can you spread the garlic in the sieve directly around plants? It seems a waste just to compost them. Great video.
Very good sir
The only little tidbit I can add at the moment is for cutworms. I think we may all have experienced for instance having a beautiful green bean plant come up and a couple of days later it's been cut at the base by a cutworm selfishly eating that little strip and killing the plant. I don't put collars around my plants anymore I sprinkle cornmeal around the plants base the cut worms eat that first can't digest it and die. I learned this from an old timey book of hints in the garden.
Otherwise this year in NW Arkansas at least in my garden has been one of the worst years for food production, it's either the weather, way too much rain….or no rain and fighting with the weeds and the grass choking out everything. Right now the temperatures are triple digit and the humidity is like you just stepped out of a hot bath. I'm a senior and can no longer handle that kind of heat.
Tucker is so cute. Good dog, Tucker.
Aww Tuck
My man is using LEGIT culinary skills chopping up that garlic in the garden. #RESPECT #WESEEYOU
Great video.
I once used neem oil mixed with oil. It burnt my plant but I was lucky to have a few plant left.
❤
Nice
I like your videos because I like seeing your puppy !!!! can I have him ?
I hate these worms they are destroying my cabbage, mesculin and arugula
the Neem oil is not working for my garden
Is it wise to use garlic/cut it up and let it fall off the table etc with your little guy (dog) there?? That's my only concern. It's extremely toxic to dogs in that it causes oxidative damage to red blood cells. I'd prefer Diatamacious Earth instead. Still using DE, I'd want to guard the plants or keep the dog from getting to it in case it accidentally smells it and has respiratory issues but at least it would benefit the dog to eat DE (Deworm / Eliminate any potential parasites, etc)
Can that insect netting work for birds too? I’m growing sweet cherries and I don’t want losing my crop to fruit stealing birds.
Thank you for the thuricide BT tip. I have the worms eating through my basil. fortunately i have so much of it they cant get too far, but I have to inspect what i pick to find the worms. and yes the white moth adults are flying in my garden, which you say is indication that the battle is on. I have used neem oil, which helps more with white fly and mites. thanks again.
Love the painted rocks..
Brilliant idea.. I'm going to try that..
Thanks this was very helpful!
No dilly dallying, very informative and easy to understand. Awesome video
U need some of that MESH that they make tu-tu's with to cover your plant boxes and they won't be able to land on you garden at all. It, is an EXCELLENT way to get rid of insect all together….
Terriers are fierce, little guards! Love you Tuck!
Won't my lettuce and leafy veggies taste like soap or garlic?
Shoit out joga gwapo
excellent teach excellent video i learned so much
Detergent soap is not harmful for plants as its not organic????
The best trick you suggested subtly this year was EZ straw. It kept the dirt off of small plant, kept them clean and hydrated. I ordered it through Ace hardware. It was affordable and has an additive that keeps it from blowing away. It is cut up into small pieces and is called seeding straw for grass seed but worked great on everything for me.
Thank you.
Love this and love you Tuck my goodness great job a ground hog would be as big as you possibly! Good job protecting your garden carrots! hugs
