I’m working really hard on trying to maximize my harvest. By harvesting the green onion tops off my onions I’m doubling my onion harvest! I love doing bulk cooking days like this. Honestly, my food processor is what makes this job so easy!

  1. You are amazing! Thank you so much for creating this channel! I have learned a lot already and am encouraged by your commitment and creativity. This is our 2nd year gardening and canning, so still learning A Bunch! You are doing such a great thing, sharing your excitement and knowledge. Your whole family is pretty awesome. Thanks for being you!

  2. Green table onions when dried are sweet. I pick and dry them as they are so sweet. I can see why they make a great pesto. Every time I buy table onions at the store I ALWAYS put the root back in the ground. I have had the same onions in the ground (on the south side of my house) for 4 years. If it gets really cold I cover them with straw or cardboard. They love the cold a will survive. Also I dry my lemon rinds and use them for soups. I think your a great kitchen magician. A word of advice. When your husband retires, keep him out of the kitchen. My husband always walks in a says…….your putting that in there!!

  3. I'm binge watching some of your episodes. You mentioned recipes. A basic recipe is always a good place to start. I share mine with the 'minimalist' (bare bones) ingredients with suggestions for additions/ changes. AND room for notes! My sons' friends (and now their girlfriends/wives) love the format.

  4. I am also a high functioning multi tasker as well… love all your vids binge watched from nyc.. you inspired me to get the canning supplies.. please more multi tasking vids love them all! awesome yt channel!

  5. I love how enjoyable it is watching you in the garden and cooking. I think it would be lonely, but then I see the pure enjoyment you have and it makes me feel envious of the motivation and "at oneness" you have.
