  1. Good to hear you are feeling better. Good update, we had actually got overwhelmed on the okra…canned/eat so much…we just gave up on picking them lol
Hope you get back to full strength soon! ATB

  2. I'm glad you're feeling better, when ya said "felt like a freight train hit me', that was bad! Well this year your garden did well, but not as well as in past years, looking on the bright side, you're learning to grow okra, ya got a volunteer tomatillo and those zucchini squash are AWESOME,…this is the size they taste better, not too young and small, not too big, any bigger and the seeds are the most valuable part of the squash. These countrymen of mine, for some reason they like their zucchini young when they're between 5" up to 7" tops, can't make a decent zucchini bread or cake with that size squash. Thank you for sharing your recent trip to the Black Forest, beautiful as ever and nice seeing your missus and daughter are fine, as well as your selfie(behind the waterfall, huh?). Thumbs up buddy, take care and God bless ya all! 🙂

  3. You're definitely doing alright considering the difficulties. Fantastic jalapeno harvest! I would love to have a harvest as abundant as that. I've had some good luck with cutting down a few pepper plants down to just a few branches and then taking them inside for the winter to grow in a pot by a window. By spring they start bushing out and will be the first to bear peppers once I put them back in the ground.

  4. Doing good man. i wanted to try and grow zucchini like that this year but the slugs ate all my starts lol We only need one plant.. but hay. calcium deficiency for the blossom end rot? Oh you know I would be diggin in that river I can smell the gold bet the break did you all the world of good. Great Photos thanks for sharing 😉
Glad your felling better I have had some bug for thee weeks now think I am just coming good.

  5. You end rot is sent crazy by some good weather. Here is the advice: "More acidic soils, such as those generally found in the eastern states, will benefit from lime or calcium carbonate, while the more alkaline soils in the western states will need gypsum or calcium sulfate. Lime tends to raise the pH, while gypsum tends to lower it."
Lovely shots of you and your girls at the end mate.
