We have integrated Chick into our flock of girls. We closed off her escape route so she has to learn to get along. It’s going fairly well, hopefully it will get smoother for her.
We are planting purple hull peas where we pulled the last two rows of corn. We also plant climbing green beans where the other Roma tomatoes were.
The Roma tomatoes have really slowed down in production, so we decided to pull them. We harvested all the tomatoes from the plants, pulled the vines, and replanted where they were with butter beans.

We are fertilizing our peppers with worm casting tea and chicken dirt. We then mulched the pepper bed with hay.
