  1. I would love to see more of the exterior of your house. While the tea recipie was great, and I thank you for it, what was seen of your home was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I fell in love with Lemon Balm when I was pregnant with my youngest. I was super excited to see that they were selling them at the store. I bought several and they grow so well. Now I can have FRESH Lemon Balm tea. I just need the plant bigger so I don't feel so horrible about collecting leaves!

  3. I just got lemon balm and also have mint and am planning to try the tea. I have tasted mint tea even though I do it differently . I boil the mint in water and the drain it so I just get the liquid and not the plant. I just every one does it its own way. That's what's great. Great video.

  4. Skin care companies would like people to try their new products to demonstrate their effectiveness.
Have you ever noticed a cosmetics area set-up in your neighbourhood mall offering free test products?
Well I discovered a website that will send free test products to your home, its the best way to get free skin products 🙂

  5. I haven't done it yet because I've been busy. but I was thinking of doing it maybe today I had just forgot about it. I'm thinking of on a regular tea add around 7 mint leaves and 7 lemon balm leaves and see what it tastes like. I'll make a video on it.

  6. Good skills matey!
I tried lemon balm for the first time earlier this year, initially because I thought it had an interesting a refreshing flavour when added to an infusion of stinging nettle and plantain (not banana) leaves, sweetened with some honey. I didn't realise until I read a book that a mate of mine lent me as to how stimulating the lemon balm is, and how it effected my well being in a good way. I couldn't link the lemon balm with the stimulated and general chilled out mood I experienced until after I read the book and it all fell into place. All 3 plants have useful medicinal and general health properties due to the amount of minerals and other goodies available.

I often leave the leaves in to infuse for several hours, it makes a really nice cold drink too.

  7. Nicely done. It was relaxing to watch.
I love lemon balm tea. I've made it before, pretty much how you demonstrated and it is a very nice flavour. I've added honey too.
I am currently making lemon balm and mint sun tea. You put the leaves in a glass container eg. jug, pitcher, a jar and fill With cool water, put a lid on and then place the glass container in the sun and let it sit for 7 hours. I'm hoping it will turn out nicely. I haven't made lemon balm sun tea before. There is another video on YT that shows how to make it.

  8. Thanks for the info!
I have had many encounters with the benefits of lemon balm. The first time that I saw its miraculous results was about 15 years ago when my daughter was feeling really sick after eating ham that wasn't totally fresh and she was on her way to the hospital. I went to meet her and on my way I purchased a small bottle of water and a Melissa tea pouch at a cafe. I placed the pouch inside the water and brought it to my daughter… about fifteen minutes later when I arrived my daughter was pale and yellowish feeling the digestive discomfort typical of food poisoning, she started drinking the cold tea from the bottle and once she was finished she was feeling 100% better. Before my intervention she was headed for the hospital where she would have been left to wait until a doctor would attend to her and probably bombard her with all kinds of medication. I have used and abused of lemon balm since then as it grows in my property. Last night after having eaten way too many Star cookies which immediately made my stomach feel bloated, I went to bed feeling quite uncomfortable and soon after I had to get up feeling quite miserable which led me to the bathroom with chills. I picked some fresh Melissa threw it into a large cup of boiled water and started drinking it after letting it steep for 5 minutes. After half a cup of tea my total discomfort started to fade and several sips later I was back to my normal self! This is absolutely true, I recommend this plant to everyone. I usually chop up a few bits of the plant which I add to my salads! It's a godsend!
