Listen brother, I know where you're coming from and I applaud your mentality and effort to "stand your ground" in regards to this. I have a bit different perspective but I still am behind you no matter what choice you make and no matter what platform you promote to. This was one of the big reasons I stopped using Yahoo years ago, because they kept jamming more & more garbage at you whether you wanted it or not.
I use some of the other video sites like DailyMotion, Veoh, & Vimeo but of course none of them reaches as many as YouTube…..maybe this recent nonsense will have more people checking them out.
Suggestion to everyone no matter where you sign up for anything……Do Not Use Your Real Name !!
I think your ideas are great and i look forward to them because, it is very interesting to hear what the people say versus what the TV is saying what is going on. It does not matter what your name is its the message that matters to me thank you but family come first i hear you there. Take care
Google+ has definitely taken the fun out of YouTube. Dammit Jim, I'm a YouTuber not a Googler. The spam issue is out of control, never had a problem with it until now. I signed up on Daily Motion after seeing Dean's video, but don't really have the motivation to change. Kinda burned out on the whole social networking thang or whatever it's called these days, too much headache and not enough enjoyment.
