During winter there are many jobs to prepare your garden for the coming growing season, but if you still aim to be growing and eating throughout the colder months, you can’t beat sprouted seeds and young winter greens.

With very little effort or cost, you can grow tasty, fresh greens for dishes such as soups, sandwiches and salads, especially when using your surplus seeds

In this video we demonstrate how to sprout seeds with minimal equipment, and show just how simple it can be to grow micro greens for a great source of flavor and nutrition in winter.

  1. What kind of seeds did you use in this video? In the jars and the seed grower thing. If anyone knows what kind of seeds you can grow in the jar and the seed grower, please tell me.

  3. Watching them grow all this vegetables, herbs etc…   in your home, it's therapy . Trees , plants has huge wellness in our lives, by simply bring them indoor as food or as purify , its healthy just by being around them.

  5. So would I be okay at growing throughout the winter by leaving my plants on the window sill? I dont have any lights, so would using the natural outdoor lights be okay for it to grow strong?

  6. I found a bean sprouting in my sink from a dried redbean that had gotten stuck in the drain, normally I wouldn't grow things indoor but it clearly wanted to live so who am I to say no
