We compost ours but our hens free range on 5 acres, too. I love your basket…much prettier than mine 🙂

oh man!! We are being over-run with eggs right now! We already compost them and put them on our garden. Never thought of putting them back to the chickens. Great video!
Hi, Patera. I've read that feeding egg shells to your hens will encourage egg eating. Is this true?
When you have a moment, will expand on the age of the egg issue. How fresh are eggs (in the 3 positions described) in the water bowl technique ?
Sprinkle eggshell powder around tom and peppers to stop blossom end rot. Pumpkins and squash like a lil too after fruit has set. I used to use it for chickens and other animals too. chickens all the time while they're laying but other animals a lil sprinkling on food especially if its a real hot day or other stresser
Good info. After baking the shells, I just throw them in the blender.
I crush the eggs in a soup can and use a honey jar. Not as fancy but it works 🙂
All the eggs have to be wash before be use
