Great ideas, thank you. A quick bulb related Q if I may please. I'll leave my spring bulbs planted in the boarder all year. Can I sow some poppy or cosmos seeds in the bed now for summer, or will the new flowers (roots) damage the bulbs?

WOW!! I remember receiving these types of Christmas gifts for several years, back in the 80's-90's. You've just answered my ? Of what to do w/those pots!! And the alcohol watering, WHAT AN IDEA!!
