  1. This is the first time I’ve gotten a mantis egg for our garden, and I’m thinking ahead here, but I was wondering…what happens to them when I have to clear out the old plants I’m worried that I’m going to hurt them when I do.

  2. Every area has unique blessings. Jersey might be cold but, they call it the garden state for reasons. I love Praying Mantis but, can't have them here in central Florida. We have these "anole" lizards, which I called an-o-lay. Not sure how the name is actually pronounced and neither is anyone who claims to know. But, they eat EVERYTHING bug wise, before it has a chance to mature. Whereas Jersey has nightcrawler earthworms, we have these micro-snakes called Flowerpot snakes. They're blind and eat termites and ants. Very cool critters and they can be, like in my yard, as plentiful as worms are in others. Every zone is uniquely blessed.
