Kale is a really good substitute for lettuce in salads. It's a lot more tasty and more nutrients. It's good in soup too.
you cover a lot of essential information that many other videos don't. Thanks So much!!!!
I just found your Complete Growing Guide for How to Grow Kale. I clicked on it because I want to know about growing Kale. For the complete guide could you show me what it is like growing? How about when you're harvesting? Maybe on what it's like next winter and what to do then? Can't you do that in 8-10 minutes? Otherwise, I'm left wishing for my 8:23 back.
hey can please tell me the approximate yield of kale per acre of land with the spacing 45X30 cm ? please please
I just love this channel

Should I bring some earthworms into my brand new garden? I used layered model of compost, then Pete, compost, soil, then topped off with garden soil.
Good information, poor presentation
Can you grow kale indoors? I have tried so many times and have no idea why it continues to die after sprouting. Can anyone help?
They are awesome the next year also, they make little florets and leaves very early and they taste delicious!
I just bought a house and I am going to add about 4 to 6 inches of compost every year. I cant wait until my soil looks like that! It may take a few years but thats OK. I can still grow in it until then!
*I have approximately 280 sq. ft. that consists of several beds that are 7 ft. X 3 or 4 ft.
“I listen to my tomatoes. I don’t listen to what other people say.”
Words to live by. Listen to your tomatoes, folks.
Last years kale is currently in blossom. The humming birds love it.
Thanks for explaining the leafing vegetable part instead of fruiting, makes sense to give them more nitrogen instead of more potassium like fruiting veggies
Great information!!!
Would wood ash be a good way to feed kale? I scattered a heavy layer of ash all over my beds before the season took off and deep watered the beds and I have been growing just enor, ous kale, I'm talking a 2 foot wide bushel for each plant. I'm in northern Michigan and I have a lowly sand soil that I basically finalized with decomposed mulch, compost and manure and this is the first year anything's grown here and it's doing fantastic, transplants are a little iffy tho as the soil hasn't built up a heavy organic make up.
Whats a good vegetarian organic source of nitrogen rich fertilizer? Does compost tea have that??
For some reason I didn’t look at your channel name good enough and I’ve always called you the MLG Gardner lol…..
