  1. That however is not water cress, its garden cress (a different type), it does not contain the same nutrients of watercress. I do grow both garden and watercress, but while garden cress its easy and fast, watercress is quite complicated. It is very fragile while young.

  2. Yo ykno appreciate you making this video, few questions, where do you store your pre mixed soil? Do you cover it? Also is the soil after the fact useful? Or should you just dispose of it?

  3. What variety of cress? Upland cress (Barbarea verna) is not watercress (Nasturtium Officinale). Looks like Upland cress.
Paper towel between seeds & soil can reduce soil contamination when harvesting.

  4. I have recently started getting into the world of planting and cress was the first microgreen I chose to grow. The main reason I was drawn to planting cress seeds was the speed as which it grows. Does anyone know of anything else that grows at approximately this speed?

  5. Hi I'm having trouble growing my Cress microgreens. The roots keep growing above the soil rather than down into the soil and my cress germinates lying down rather than growing upwards. The cress seeds are also very gel like and keep sticking to each other thus when germinating the stems all get matted and stuck to each other. How do I fix this?

  6. What do you do with garden cress? is it used like pepper? We have a good amount of it in the garden right now, and the plants are about half the size before they go to seed, which we collected tons of seeds from in the spring and summer already from just a few plants.

  7. This and chickpeas was the first thing we learned to grow at school. Been years since I had it but on a cracker with soft cheese and cue, bloody delish.
A tub is just 25p a large box is 70p.
Imo it's a great looking little plant, I used it in a rockery. No sowing no care, just tossed the seeds and watered 3 times a week.

  8. just get a pair of scissors , why are we wasting electricity on this , the whole idea of eating peasant food and saving the planet dose not involve computers and tvs etc, yeh we are so green, this is mental, im off for a egg and cress sandwich, i love, them, have a nice day,
