  1. when you get the greenhouse up what are your high and low temperatures that you are going for and why can't you do overhead watering in the winter and drop in the summer?

  2. Curtis, I'm really disappointed the workshop in Vancouver was cancelled I was really looking forward to meet you in person. I hope it's just postponed and you can come soon to give us your talk.

  3. hey curtis, when you get to it i would love to see a video on how you build your end walls and how you secure your plastic for the end walls. Also, im assuming youre using wiggle wire on the side walls. do you run a wood base board and attach the track to that or just attach the track right to the poles? ive seen it done both ways and looking for your opinion. im Putting up my very first green house next weekend so these videos are coming with just impeccable timing! looking forward to your next vids!

  4. when do you find time in the studio with everything else you have to do. i really like some of your music. the track for this one i especially liked very tranquil almost rainy day beats

  5. Nice job,
If snow is a possibility, High tunnels can be effected by the weight of the wet snow, as you know. You may wish to have a clear path between the tunnels so that if you wish to run a snowblower through them it can easily done. just simple thing can freeze to ground. also and you may already have it, a good roof rake for removing snow from plastic with long enough handle. the rake shouldn't have sharp edges that can cut the plastic. It may be necessary to clear roof several times during a bad snow.
    Best

  6. I really like how you're using the two sizes of conduit (is it conduit or galvanized?) to join the trusses to the uprights. I was wondering how you were going to do that. I am so excited for you that you're so close to constructing the greenhouse! It is looking amazing! Oh, and I have "soil envy." That is some great looking soil you have that I know took you a lot of work to get it to that point. All the best.

  7. Hello Curtis. I really appreciate your videos, and have learned so much
from them! I'm just wondering, do the water restrictions during the
Okanagan summers impact your crops, or are crops exempt from the
    restrictions? Thank you.

  8. I'm the same way, if I would just slow down n do a little planning things would be so much smoother and productive. I just get excited and overwhelmed by it all, starting up is hard I have all this drive and don't know which way to run. Looks good though thanks Curtis keep crushin it.

  9. In your next book, "1001 mistakes not to make while SPIN farming," you could teach us all sorts of ways to not have to redo our work when we are learning what will and will not work at our farm sites. I know a lot of things will simply have to be learned by personal experience, by trial and error. But it would surely be entertaining and informative to read of some of your own lessons learned about why some things just do not work and what to do to solve problems easily once they are already made. Great work, man. Keep the videos coming. I learn as much from these videos as I do from your book and I'm always looking forward to the next video.

  10. I've been mulling between 30" & 24" beds at a new site, just mostly due to straddle comfort and ability to have more beds on less space. I know the obvious loss in productive space for a narrower beds due to more walkways, but is there an impact to harvest & prep tools (or even plant spacing between rows not adequate) if the beds were designed at 24"?

  11. I have a question Curtis. I live on the side of a hill. Its not an aggressive hill, how ever its not flat. I currently grow on a 30X50 and a 20X24 garden plot. I have a descent amount of unused soil. I am going to model my back yard farming after your models.  I rototill perpendicular to hill side. My thinking is that it will help catch water in my rows.Any ideas or suggestions you may have for me in making my beds? Do you have an email address?
