I couldn't agree more Patara! I took the course several years ago in Idaho (Starry's home town),,,and it was great! Learned a LOT!!! Blessings!
Sounds like a win, win. Thanks for the info. The master gardeners' advice at my county extension saved my ancient mulberry tree from black soot disease. And gave me an organic way to kill the grubs in my bag of potting soil. Glad to see you today. xoxo from Arizona.
I agree 100%. I'm a Master Gardener too. I met some of my closest friends either through the Master Gardener program or other activities with the Extension office that I wouldn't have known about had I not taken that class.
Thinking about doing this. Learned a lot for my first two summer gardens, but lots more to know. Excess rain and pests continue to be problematic as I try to stay organic.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Patara, I'm in a Master Gardener program right now and couldn't agree more with your reasons. Such a fun group of people and the education I'm receiving is GOLD!
Sounds like your super busy! Great advise thanks!!!!
Great video.. looking into this for sure.. Thx Patera 🙂
Thanks for all the great reasons, I have been thinking about it for a while. Guess it is time to take the plunge.
Hello excellent video as always. Thank you.
Wow, thanks for this insight. That wasn't even on my radar. Now I'm going to check in to classes in my area. Thanks for broadening my horizons!
I work full time outside of the home so I have to wait until 2019 when my local extension will offer evening classes. They only do it every 3 years. :/
I think this is on my bucket list now.
The program is well worth it. –
Nice video. I took the Master Gardener course given by Oklahoma State University. It is awesome. Met lots of like minded people. I learned a lot and learned where to get good information. It was worth the time invested
I was wondering why I wasn’t getting updates… when I looked I wasn’t subscribed to your channel…. I had to resubscribe….
I wanted to do this so badly this year, but the kids aren't ready to be home alone all day yet. It's such a huge time commitment.
Question everything, see who funds this program, question everything….. I took this course 16 (?) years ago in Wa. state…… and the "tree fruit" expert said organic gardening is just a fad. Learned lots of stuff, but I suggest to all, to be discerning ……..
another fantastic video today folks !! thanks for sharing
I'm thinking about doing the class because I love Roses and have a obsession for flowers
I didn’t realize you were a Master Gardener. I just signed up Saturday for my classes!! So excited.
Thank you! I'm really excited to begin the Master Gardiner process!
Oh my gosh, has anybody ever told you that you look like Julia Roberts?
Thank you so much. I'm in Virginia zone 7a. I signed up for the Master Gardener course.
Sounds like a lot of fun, frankly.
