  1. My grandmother was from a small town in the mts. of Virginia, the far west corner where TN, KY, and VA all come together, Rosehill, Va. and her banana pudding was just like yours. I make it the same way. Love your videos.

  2. Tell "Nanna" thank you for her knowledge and sharing her recipe. It will be put to good use! Thank you for sharing as well. Looking forward to your next video. Great camera work also.

  3. That looks delicious! I love warm custard. The bananas and vanilla wafers must put it over the top. I'm curious. You mentioned that you make your own vanilla. Would you be willing to share how you do that? Love your channel. I just happened upon this older episode that I hadn't seen before. Thanks for all the work you put into the videos. The knowledge you share is wonderful!

  4. I learned to cook this from my granny when I was just tall enough to see over the top of the woodstove.
My job was to cut up the bannanas while she made the pudding on the woodstove. I would layer in the nella wafer cookies while she poured the hot puddin on. She raised five kids on that woodstove.
She baked a pan of biskits every morning of her life. I wish i had learned more from her.
