  1. Dear MIgardener, I have a question/request. I saw on Facebook these plant molds. You place the plastic molds on the forming fruit or whatever you would like and once the fruit is fully grown it should be the shape of said mold. What is your view on this and will you try this next growing season just to see if it would work?

  2. Thanks a lot for the good info, Luke. However, I get a decent amount of rain, and my ground soil is always damp – and my oregano thrives in it. And I really want to see some info on erba stella. Isn't that Mediterranean? I got zero germination from the seed packet I bought from you.

  3. Thanks for the video Luke! Its so inspiring seeing you grow this kind of stuff in Michigan. I am in MI also and am looking forward to growing some crazy stuff in the years to come!

  4. Celery requires lots of water, so placing those plants in a dry environment (as in this case) will most likely give you small and dry stalks. However, the foliage is said to be great in cooking as well, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it either way.

  5. Thanks for sharing Luke! Its amazing you can grow all these plants in Michigan! I am in Minnesota and have been keeping all my Mediterranean plants in pots, but may try planting them in the ground after watching your video.

  6. Hi..my city has a Mediterranean/cold semi-arid climate (i live in thessaloniki greece) and we received only around 350-380mm annual rainfall the last two years, basically only in late autumn and spring (even though we have Mediterranean climate here it doesn't rain in midwinter…for example this year we have only 2,4mm in two months) …..and sometimes we have even two months in summer with no rain at all and 40+ weather…and the wild figs, rosemaries, wild thymes ect here are so healthy, they don't care at all
They are soooo drought tolerant so don't worry about anything…even a serious summer drought where you live won't kill them

P.s. i am sorry if you have a problem understanding milimeters and Celsius

  7. If your plant had come with little figlets already growing on them, would you have snipped them off for it to concentrate on root growth and not fruit production? My plant had a HUGE root ball, so I am hoping that the 5 figlets are ok to grow. Thanks for all the great info!

  8. Hi Luke I'm new to the channel, I live in Clarkston MI. And I like to know do you have to wrap the fig and yhe pomegranate for winter? I bought a fig I have it in a 40 gallons container it actually just got to figs. And I'm worry it will not survive the winter.
