I have a few questions I've been meaning to ask you.
#1 have you ever had mites? What would you use if you had them?
#2 Have you ever trimmed or removed spurs? What is your opinion on this?
I know you've got a lot of space, but how many roosters are to many? What do you do when you hatch out roosters that you don't need , or you can use? How many is to many ?
great new intro music !
I use graval/stones
Good idea!
cool
Imagine button quail. You need marbles for tiny quail waters too.
That's the best idea I've seen! Thank you!
An empty sour cream 6 oz tub fits prefectly under the base of those. That's what I used to elivate mine. Didn't think to use the marbles though great tip!
Thank you for sharin' Patara, I appreciate it. Okay, off the ball question……your Instagram always shows gorgeous pictures of freshly washed eggs. Do you have a video of you washing your eggs? I think I have heard you say you use Dr. Bronners but for some odd reason I would like to see your process of washing eggs. lol I know, I'm weird. 🙂 Blessings to you all!
Patara Singing Megan Trainor!!!
My Day Is Complete! LOL
GREAT tips about the waterer. I have used that very waterer before. I'll be sure to add the marbles. THANK YOU!
That is a amazing tip! I would have never thought of that !
Hey I was hoping to see those new chicks! Anyway I drill a hole in the lid of a V-8 bottle and put a chicken nipple. Oh and then a pinhole at the the bottom. Made a hanger invert it and then the little ones get clean water since they can't poop into that!
Is Miss Belle pregnant?
Great advice !
You are such a loving compassionate barnyard Momma, taking such good care of all your babies. Thank you Patara for sharing, blessings
Thanks. God bless!
Love your kitty helper!
I enjoy learning so much of farming things and my oldest daughter lives in Kentucky on a farm Ang asked me different thing so your helping me to help her
We lost one to getting wet and chilling from a water dish. We have over 12 eggs under a broody hen and going to do the mables this time around..
Haven't seen those quail based waterers, looks like a great choice for tiny chicks. Thanks Patara
Mr Peaches is adorable
Not had that problem but good info thanks
I love your videos!
We've had a couple of our chicks drown but it was the goat's water. So we put out a chicken waterer for them and so far, they are drinking from that. Should have done that sooner. Another year we had adolescent chickens drown in the goat water (5 gallon buckets).
Love the intro music on this video! Did one of your children do it?
Love ya girl!! Karen from WI.
