  1. So jealous that you all have TJs. We have to drive 3 hours to nearest one. We just started getting Aldis scattered around our area.

  2. So TJ's is a break off of Aldi, same here in St Louis, Aldi's prices are creeping up, and yes TJ's is great!! TJ's has a nutritional yeast of their own, 1/2 the price of Braggs! And I love hazelnuts, and they have them! Their cranberry juice is a better price too❣️
    Thank you Patara❣️

  3. I have run out of space to store food, and recently realized that “specialty foods” don’t seem as expensive now (compared). I would rather spend $4 on a treat like pickles or olives than another lb of butter. I buy lots of cheese lately (some fancy) instead of cheap meats. My sourdough starter has really come along, even premium bread flour is cheaper than boring bread.
I really enjoy good tasting food and variety. I had bruschetta for dinner on homemade sourdough with home grown basil and Italian romano cheese. I am older, so that’s a meal for me and I LOVED IT. I had high protein breakfast.
Fried rice is easy… fresh ginger and garlic, Kikoman teriyaki (real mirin). TJs has good curry frozen or jar sauces… asian market if you want to make your own (not hard to cook, you might need some help shopping).

  4. I go back and forth between Aldi and Walmart. We do have a Trader Joe’s but I do not go often. I will have to try again. They very much have specialty items. I am not sure I could get everything I needed there.

  5. Im just a jump, from our Trader Joes, it's been 4 years, because they are so busy and it's in a plaza with a coffee shop, pizza shop, a breakfast shop, and a children's clothing store, so it's always packed.

  6. Love Trader Joe's. Wish I had one closer to me now. I used to live a mile from two of them, and within 5 miles of 3 more! Now, the closest one is an hour away.

  7. The vegetable fried rice is delicious with their frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken, they have a wonderful chunky peanut butter with chia seeds and no added sugar. They also have a Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce that I cook chicken in that's delicious. And I dare not come home without Casper's, my little dog's, Chicken and Brown Rice Sticks. They're his all time favorite treat. Love Trader Joe's!

  8. Please send a Trader Joe’s in Alabama!! On rare trips I always stop and buy my souvenirs!!!! ❤FOOD STORAGE. YEAH vacuum bag brands/bags and prices for a beginner vacuum sealer model. Thank you!

  9. Just watching the prices on produce and nearly crying. Everything so cheap compared to here in Israel. That plus the fact you can buy bulk packs of items which are completely unavailable here. And you have a choice of vendors. Where I live we have a choice of 3 chain outlets who all price fix therefore no real choice.
Thank you for your lovely channel. I really appreciate all your hard work.
