This is the first year I made an arched cattle panel trellis. I planted summer squash on one and cucumber on the other. What do I need to do when the teellis is compmetely covered by the squash? Do I prune or cut them back? And how?

Does anyone know where to find these panels in Australia? I can't find anyone who supplies a product like what home depot sells. When looking for cattle panels here I find heavy duty welded bar steel… Not mesh.
Seems like a really good way to grow without the fruit on the ground.

We did the arched cattle panels this year. We love it and everything is beautiful! Also we are enjoying tge flowers before the produce comes on. We get 40 to 60 mph winds from time to time so we used 2 t-posts per side. Also we used a few pig panels too. We secured the two together with stainless steel wire.

I watched your video on vertical trellising plants and thought it was very informative. I was wondering, though, with your arches that you had for some of your winter squash–did you use two cattle panels and then hook them together at the top, or was it made out of only one? I've been in the process of making some panels with branches from downed trees and young saplings around us here, but would like to try doing some arches in my garden like you did.
