California Gardening is one of the biggest channels in the gardening space here on YouTube. I’ve learned SO much from his channel over the years. A few days ago I left a comment on his channel to see if he’d be open to a full tour of the garden, and to my surprise he said…YES!
I drove up to his city and we hung out. He’s a great guy, and while you WON’T see his face (it’s still top-secret), you WILL see his entire garden in this video. I don’t think anyone has ever seen the full garden before, so it was an honor and privilege to meet him and hear from the master himself.

About taro: if you eat the leaves, make sure you cook them… they are extremely irritating to your mouth and throat otherwise.

What's the thing hanging from the tangerine tree that looks like a burlap sack with maybe two melon sized spheres in it for?
Sometimes going into a garden other than being in awe of the beauty of it I walk through and identify plants too. Lol There is usually a wait what's that moment. So neat to know there is always something more to know . Cheers. Thanks for the guided tour
It’s a nice garden tour for sure – however I was expecting California native plants. Natives are better for pollinators than any other plant.

This video is underrated
Do you want to do a video about giant vegetables? I have a giant radish and I have no idea why…or what to do with it.
I have a massive curry tree in my backyard that we basically do nothing for. It's really almost as tall as my (two storey) house! The last time I harvested from it I actually just reached out of my bathroom window upstairs and grabbed a few stalks lol because it was practically in my window lol. The seeds also grow really, really, really easily–they drop into the space below the mother tree and we basically have a curry seedling jungle in that space because that part of the garden isn't easily accessible for us to clear it.
