Thank you so much for believing in us!
I so agree about raised beds. It just works…anywhere. I'm a big believer in hydroponics and aquaponics as fun projects too.
How does she have six kids and she is never with them.
I had to pause the video to tell you, I flew home to NC from a trip to Lakeland FL with my sister-in-law. In my carryon shoulder bag was several tropicals to add to my collection. There were plants sticking up over my shoulder as I walked down the aisle, the passengers laughed and thought it was cute that I had a false bird of paradise, and several ornamental gingers blooming in that shoulder bag. This was last summer. They went through the x-ray just fine too! So next time take a shoulder bag, that can sit between your feet, and shop away! I also have a friend that packs a small extra bag in her luggage that is for cuttings and small plants that is the carry-on size that goes into the overhead. Things can easily come out of Cali, they just will not let you take them into Cali.
What a bummer, I just downloaded SeedSwap and the closest growers to me are 4900+ miles away which defeats the purpose.
Yay! Two of my favourite channel makers in the same frame :big grin:
Glad you guys/gals "hooked up"…I watch Doug and Stacy also and I'll bet you all had plenty of great stories to share.
Keep smiling…it looks great on you !
Can I ask what event this is
Love the back to eden concept
Great insight!!! FYI for me the background music was a little distracting this time.
My husband and I flew out there and I was so sad, because I and to buy everything and bring it all home. Had a great time and met some neat friends! We had to pay for another bag to take back home for just the seeds. Looking forward to going again this year
So lovely to see you hanging out with Doug and Stacy as they are the ones who inspired my raised bed garden! I wanted to build and start raised beds, mostly because I did not want to crawl around the garden on my knees and found their bed building video. Well a year later and beds are built, filled with good soil and some earthworm compost and straw on top and growing lovely things. My first crops failed due to ignorance and excessive heat waves, but I planted again and still have crops. Just now started seeds for Autumn and the garden is getting better and better 😀
love the <3 BEE's
As a former Santa Rosa Councilmember and fan of these awesome u tubers I am feeling wonderfully proud of the Heirloom expo!
I love that you said "it makes the world feel a lot smaller" but didn't hint to that being a bad or negative thing. Most people want it all big… I love the small parts of the world.
My time spent with our local school gardens program has such a special place in my heart. This brings back memories.

Oh my goodness!!!!! YOu KNOW Doug & Stacy!?!?!?!! I love both of your channels so much! This is surreal watching y'all together! My friends tease me that y'all are my imaginary friends because I say stuff like, "Jess taught me this awesome trick to planting tomatoes" and "Try some of Stacy's elderberry tincture." Than you all for being such amazing gifts to me! Love from Michigan, Angel 🙂
BLESS YOU DOUG!!!
