  1. Ghost pepper, home grown. I had a piece of it. I was amazed how fruity it was initially. Then the heat kicked in and all I could do was close my eyes and try to mediate through the hard part. Once it passed there was a euphoric feeling for a little while. It was a really fun experience. I don’t think I would ever do a full pepper. Thanks for the episode, Levi.

  2. We have a store in my town called Greenport Fire. Every year our town has a Maritime festival and our Fire Department does a EMS standby just in case… Well a few years ago we had several people passing out and getting sick. We asked them; like we always do. What did you eat & drink today. Some of them said that they did the hot sauce challenge at Greenport Fire. So of course we had to go check this place out. When we arrived to watch there was a huge crowd around this booth and the people had 7 shot glasses of hot sauce. Each getting progressively hotter and at the end they got whip cream to douse the flames. The owners of the shop noticed our EMS crew there and came over to talk to us. When we told them about the people passing out they were shocked. Hello! It's over 90 degrees out and people are taking shots of hot sauce. What do you think is gonna happen.

  3. That’s what I’m like when I eat a pepper. I don’t know the kind I had but I had thought it was a banana pepper I was very wrong it was hot and my son died laughing he loves ghost peppers

  4. I love really spicy chilies in sauces, but not necessarily by themselves. One pepper memory that always sticks with me is the Aji pepper, which I love to eat in Ecuadorian and South American foods, but the preparation. OMG. Even though gloves, this pepper burned my fingers and everything they came into contact with.

I was a Luke purist, but you've found yourself a new fan.
