  1. I order seed from you every season and I am always very pleased with my order but your price per seed packet has most certainly increased in fact it has doubled. I understand the market and to stay in business sometimes a price increase is necessary but I could have sworn you said our price will not increase “they are what they are “. True ….they have increased from $1 a packet to $2 a packet.

  2. Hey Luke and the team! I love your take on growing seeds as more than just a hobby, but something frugal and productive as well. I grew up on a small farm in a remote area. Fresh food was expensive and grocery stores didn't carry local produce. My family grew food not as a fancy endeavor but as a means to save money while also providing us with the best quality and freshness. My mom would buy 2 seed packets each of lettuce, radishes, carrots etc. each year. She wouldn't buy a seed pack until it was all exhausted, never wasting anything. We basically ate thousands of dollars worth of organic produce every year for pennies!
I still do this to some extend, although I indulge in more varieties than she does! It's still a mind-blowing saving when I add up the hundreds of pounds of tomatoes I can, the 150 of onions, etc.
We don't worry about food prices in my family, not at all. I look at feed price for the chickens and goats, but even that can be fudged with allowing garden space for growing food for them.
    Keep up the good work!

  3. This is my first year it took me two years getting above ground beds a grow tunnel and green house along with wicking tubs and grow bags having 12 yards of compost/manure/topsoil mix delivered next week to fill my beds the price went up 200.00 from last year but it’s taken me so long to get everything together plus I use to be a trucker gone 90 days home 5 can’t do that anymore as my eyesight isn’t that good anymore so now jumping into gardening full force and raising meat chics. Thank you for all your vids hope I have learned enough from you, Hollis and Nancy and Deep South homestead to get it done

  4. For weather, try Ryan Hall Y'all for weather info. During storms he is even on around 9-10 hours live giving a play by play of the weather. He predicts up to the local area where a tornado is headed. He stays live till dangers are over. Very informative and honest about predictions. He will say he is not there to scare you, but prepare you. Most of the time he uses storm chasers.

  5. I was just wondering about onion seedlings! Love you guys. Found your YouTube channel before your store a few years ago. Slowly making progress every year on my gardening adventure.

  6. Darn, I missed the live stream, but no matter what you always have something positive to say and I glean and huge amount from your sharing tidbits of information. Be safe in all the snow. We only got melting snow and now ice here in Allentown.
