  1. Good morning Jess I live in Albany Oregon and I think my zone is 7B and I really want to grow some kind of a melon any ideas on what would do good in my zone if you could help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it yours are so beautiful like that kajari melon is so beautiful I would love to try to grow that if it would work in my zone I don't even know where to get the seeds but I'll figure that out if you could just let me know thank you so much

  2. Would you recommend planting sweet peas throughout a garden? are they hardy pest resist. Brand I have Sweet pea mix burble I have never planted I just love the daity look What do you think

  3. Something else you can do with banana leaves is if you cook together rice and beans for example, put a piece of banana leaf big enough to almost cover the circumference of the pot once a third of the water remains and it's the final stage of cooking on low heat, then put the lid on, and wait until the rice is done and the leaf will lose its color becoming a bit grayish green, and your rice will explode with flavor. It also complements dishes with black cardamom in the same manner. I'm from Puerto Rico and we use banana leaves for almost everything we can sneak it in for flavor. Aaaalso, wrap fish flavored your way and put it in the oven or grill and it'll keep the fish's moisture better and the skin will peel right off. It just needs to be 2 leaves, not just one, to stand the heat better and not just burn off putting the fish at risk by becoming charred.

  4. For ant issues. i use cornmeal. It's safe for your pets as well as kills the ants. They eat the cornmeal and it swells them up and kills them. Works every time.

  5. Watching this again as inspiration, April 4 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis, while so many of the plants are small in the garden. A great reminder that in less than 2 months, the garden will really be ready to pop!
