  1. Oh thank you m so much for this video. I was second guessing myself on if my corn was tall enough yet to plant my pile beans and they are about as tall as yours so I went ahead and planted them and also planted my pumpkin seeds and I did cucumber on one side too. Hopefully that will work out

  2. I was told to go with the beans once corn was a 1 ft tall. Yes life happens I haven't conquered 3 sisters .have learned alot from you and do appreciate that. Have 4 chickens learning everyday lol

  3. You did not plant the 3 sisters as a Navajo would they dig a hole about a foot deep and put a hand full of mixed seeds in the bottom the hole is catch rain water they never thin their way out produces all other tribe's for the amount of rain they get

  4. We have just the opposite problem here in Mi. we are flooding out and its been cool. I lost my 1st crop of sweet corn because its so wet. Just replanted this last monday hopefully it will stay dry enough for this planting to come up.

  5. Patara, Love your garden, Sister (and your chicken saga). You were discussing the heat and lack of rain. Have you checked into the idea of watering with ollas? Preferably a setup that self-waters from a single location. From experience, ollas are great all the time, but especially in the desert or in droughts. The only time I would not recommend it is immediately after direct sowing your seeds. Those you still must direct water so they sprout, but once established the ollas are wonderful. (No more cracked tomatoes.) Hay/straw/wood chips is another wonderful idea too.
Keep up the great work. Love your videos!
