  1. Thank you Mark, learned a lot about the tulip plant. I missed planting out the Red Impressions tulips I had ordered, the cold and snow arrived too soon as usual. Do you know if there there is anything I can do to keep them healthy until next spring?

  2. I’m really looking forward to seeing these in bloom. I am seduced every year by the catalogues of tulips but it’s a battle to stop grey squirrels from digging them up and destroying them.

  3. Hey Marc, maybe far off, but You opened my eyes! It was like scales of concrete where falling off of my eyes! I always knew permaculture is working, back to eden is working, but not for me. So, since I found Your channel I´m able to close the gap! I´m so excited. Now I understand why it is working and why it did not work for me. Just transplanted some soil from a spruce into my strawberies and my wintercrop and althou seeded some clover and wicken for green mulching my free spaces, even it is nearly mid of november. I´m so thankful that I found Your channel.

  4. I already planted my tulip bulbs. Squirrels also like the bulbs and dug some of mine up. I don't think they ate them because I found some unearthed and I replanted them. Squirrels are digging everywhere. I started giving the nuts far away from my plants. Next time I plant bulbs I will cover them with wire or netting.

  5. About 5 years ago I planted 200 Tulipa ‘Unicum praestans’. They were magnificent on my part shade property with their pale leaf margins and luminous red blooms unlike anything else. The squirrels and chipmunks had a heyday. Now all that’s left is one in a bed that previously had none and a few that are popping up in my neighbour’s lawn. I don’t care. They are my absolute favourite and I’m going to just plant them again this fall. Maybe a thicker layer of mulch will keep the critters away.
