  1. I'm really liking your videos. I do a raised garden here in Tennessee but have always felt I'm making mistakes. I found around 3 in your video that I'm doing lol. I'm originally from Wyandotte, MI–our yards did not look like yours. I think we had lot sizes of 120×40 lol.

  2. My beds are 2.5 and 3 feet tall and the bottom of them I filled with dead timber laying on the property. I can not tell you how nice it is to be able to work the garden and not be bent over and crawling on the ground. Yes this was more expensive but the cost is well worth the convenience. My soil is a mix of mushroom compost, some screened topsoil, and peat moss. In the future I will fill with all mushroom compost.

  3. I want to make raised beds But just a few weeks ago I went to builders supply and one treated 2x4x8 was 7.17 I could not believe how much wood has skyrocketed. Even non treated is almost the same . Hope it comes down soon .

  4. I hope that you or someone can answer my question: if I remove the sod from under my raised beds, would I need 10-12”above ground level for my crops? What if I tilled that top portion then placed my beds?

  5. Love your Gilroy Garlic Festival t-shirt. Been many years since I’ve been, but I loved those festivals.
I’m in the middle of deciding on raised bed build and this was useful. Thank you.

  6. Great job getting information about TOXIC Chemicals seeping in ur ground. I hate those DIY tire and other dangerous item garden Idea videos

  7. wait… so I do the Raised Bed Gardeners, "Bob's Mix." I use 1-part peet, 1-part compost, 1-part vermiculite… and you are saying I do not need the vermiculite?

  8. That shirt you are wearing was designed by my late brother. It is one of the last pieces of his art still being used. The Garlic Festival is this week, I think, drive thru. Thanks for wearing the shirt!
