Great videos James. I love your enthusiasm, and Tuck is the cutest. Please put a notch on either end of the board holding your cold frame open. I'd hate to see a sudden gust of wind cause you any injury. Keep up the good work, you are doing a real service to the gardening community.

I'm new to gardening and have been making many mistakes (and learning) but I'm amazing that I accidentally did something right.
I only have one garden bed and next to my tomatos are garlic and basil. I had no idea they may help in any way.

Why do u bury it sideways instead of just burying it deeper?
What’s the difference between laying them sideways and just burying them deeper?
I use a post hole digger and dig straight down and plant the tomato plant to just over the last branch removed, also use potting soil around the plants. The deeper the less water you have do !!!
