  1. Love the shtf farm concept. If I was in your neck of the woods I would be begging to get in on it. Alas, I'm in Winnipeg. Got my own little yard growing to the best of my ability for now. Collecting seed, and hyper velocity freedom seeds. Food storage in the basement.

  2. Is what people think is their land on British Columbia assessable under the Assessment Act.
    "" "land" includes

    (a) land covered by water,

    (b) quarries, and

    (c) sand and gravel,

but does not include coal or other minerals; "

" ""land" includes any interest in land, including any right, title or estate in it of any tenure, with all buildings and houses, unless there are words to exclude buildings and houses, or to restrict the meaning; "

First definition is from the Assessment Act and the second from the Interpretation Act.

  3. I make my own seed potatoe starts every year. I save back part of my harvest just for seed potatoes. I have not had to buy potatoes for ten years. I also save seed for most of my other crops. I just plant a little extra each year of each crop. Love your videos. I am constany looking back at your older videos and i bought your book. I am not subscribed to your from the field channel yet but maybe one day soon. Keep up the good work and stay safe in this crazy world we live in.

  4. Potato seeds
You are voicing your concern about purchasing them. It reminded me of a Netflix show called "Down to Earth with Zack Efron" season 1 episode 5 ( S1;E5 ) is about Lima Peru. At 10 minutes and 50 seconds into that episode the "International Potato Center" they have the largest collection of potato strains in the world. The biodiversity center they collect and preserve the genetic material of the potatoes.

They are preserving 4600 different types of potatoes. They do it to make sure in the event of a catastrophe these individual strains will still survive and not become extinct.

They may be your solution to potato seeds. And if not they could certainly lead you in the right direction.
