  1. I am in need for summer of 2020 for packaging equipment for fresh cut Basil with stem into plastic bags.  Basil net weight would be 28.5 grams to 30 grams.

Equipment would weigh the basil and either insert with the basil a small packet about the size of a sugar packet and then insert into plastic packaging  or insert basil into the plastic bag that already has a small packet about the size of a sugar packet in it.

Equipment would be sent to Florida, USA.

  2. Anyone with sealing tape issues here? I've used this bag sealer and if my greens stay in the fridge for a night, the tape detaches from the bag. It's quite frustrating. Bags look pretty clean, but since I have problems with the tape, I've started to tie simple knots. I like how it looks like with tape on, so please share if you overcame this issue.

  3. Been watching your videos for so long, and kind of fell out of growing microgreens. Just started wondering if its even possible to ship them, without paying way too much for overnight shipping. Is there a possible way to use regular shipping with them still being fresh 3 days later?

  4. I can see sealable bags on amazon.ca for sale. Which size do you recommend I buy for commercial selling of my microgreens?
I know of standard amount of microgreens per bag will be 60 grams for most places and 150 grams for restaurants.

  5. do you bags have air in them, they looked puffy. im asking how to protect the lettuce from getting beaten up. maby it's the kind of bak you have is kind of stiff

  6. Curtis, as a student of operation management and quality control. You can test this, but I know by running equivalent tests that you will save double the time and save on space by going from step 1 thru to step 10 in one cell station. Pack ur product like u do, before putting it down label your bag, and go straight to your distribution box, close your box and label your box with your final content. This will save you from touching your product multiple times and from having extra space, which both lead to waste; aka MUDA. At least half of your packaging time will be saved by applying this concept. Cellurizing your workspace will also allow for more efficiency. When I finish my bachelor's degree in two years I will be reaching out to you to come and help consult your business. I am happy with your work and thank you for the education you provide for me. Keep up the stellar work! Thanks.

  7. 1st, I really appreciate your videos. They are very well put together. Thank you! 2nd, why do you not sell your heads of lettuce instead of bagging it like you do? Lastly, bagging like that, is it more time consuming? I’m trying to help my community have fresh vegetables and herbs as well as help the hungry here since we are in a food desert (Vegas). Thank you in advance

  8. Good for you for supporting local!!!! I am sick of "links to Amazon in the description". Everyone should support local!! And that does NOT mean the local Walmart.

  9. Have you ever tried using vented bags for Lettuce. A lot of bag manufactures advertise vented bags for long shelf life. Do you have a recommendation for where to buy bugs?
