Please give me some advice. I have a garden kinda similar to y’all’s last year I had the start of root knot nematodes. This year they are horrible. Right before my plants produce they pretty much die from them. I read to grow a crap ton of marigolds and mustard and till it in. Wondering if you had any other tips to get rid of them. Driving me crazy

So a couple years back my daughter had fall decorations with pumpkins and a bale of straw. She left it all winter I had read about straw bale gardening so on my way in her house I pushed a couple seeds into the bale. I am over the road truck driver and so I was gone several weeks when I came back she said mom… I don't know what this is growing it had crossed her walk way it was huge. I just died laughing. I told her what it was. I have wanted to have a straw bale garden ever since. Unfortunately I'm not really home enough to have one, I did however plant potatoes this year.

I'm in Conway. I'm actually doing what you're contemplating. Pulling up my peas, but replanting yellow squash and cucumbers. Hoping to have harvest without the bug challenges.

My grandparents got their first watermelon patch from my sister and I having a watermelon seed spitting contest. The goal was to spit the seeds over the fence. The next year we had watermelons growing along the fence. Surprise watermelons are the best lol.
