VIDEO: 10 Lessons Learned From Second Year Farming

It’s hard to believe we have completed our second year farming! We had a great time learning more farming, and as we sit here getting ready for our next season, we have found that we learned many lessons. We reflect and talk about 10 lessons here.
1) Learn From Your Past Mistakes
2) Make Hay While the Sun Shines
3) Sometimes Things are Easier Then You Think
4) Sometimes Things are Harder Then You Think
5) If You Can’t Display It, You Can’t Sell It
6) It Doesn’t Matter How Good It Looks If No One Wants It
7) Variety, Not Crop
8) Don’t Mess Up Your Most Important Crops
9) Maybe There Is Something to This Fertilizer Thing
10) Disease and Pest Knowledge

  1. Thanks I needed that! Great to learn from other ppls mistakes & not have to make them yourself.
I seem to have more seedlings than prepped ground for them to go into. Gotta really work on that.
