  1. Just imagine there was a time when people depended on their livestock for survival. A loss of that life could mean loss of much more for the family.
    God bless his mercy.

  2. I won't watch past the intro only because I can't handle certain parts of "death" with animals and won't know what's coming. But I do appreciate how open and honest you are to try to help others and I hope you get past this with as little heartache as possible. It's one of the reasons I don't have more than one pet and try not to eat animals. The death of any animal haunts me to my core. I feel the emotional pain.

  3. It has been a really hard kidding year for many it seems, on our farm as well. Big kids, crazy presentations, just seems like everything is going a little haywire! Good job getting it done even though it is rough. Thanks for the update.

  4. I just want ya'll to know that when you share the good with us, I am in praise and thanksgiving with you. When you share the hard stuff of life and the sadness, I am there praying for you and sending out virtual hugs to you. You've become like great friends to me and I am so thankful you share your glass house life with the rest of us, no matter how hard it is. Thank you and bless you.

  5. I know you like to go visit your plants and animals in person but maybe when the goats are kidding a nanny cam of some sort might be helpful in case of emergencies

  6. This is why my gardening will never consist of anything more than a couple of raised beds in my community garden. I simply couldn't handle everything that goes along with farm life.

  7. Just caught your video and yes the incredible bounty of life on my little homestead is sometimes peppered with challenges of life and death among my animals. Thanks for bringing this to the viewers. Hopefully people will realize the circle of life does indeed get around to death once in awhile and it's something you never get used to.

  8. Oh Jess so sorry to hear of the loss of Manny and your traumas but would like to thank you for keeping it real and sharing it with us. It’s not always smooth sailing and these things are sent to test us, but you tell the story in such a caring and respectful way. I was in tears with you xx

  9. Just saw this video, I am so sorry you have had such a rough week, praying all goes well. Wanted to say that I have been making a natural pain/anti-inflamation tincture for my family using herbs, don't know if you can use something like that for the goats but wanted to mention it. The herbs I use are catnip, echinacea, feverfew and marshmallow leaf. You can do some research and see if those are all safe for your animals, if so maybe you could make one for your goats, etc.

  10. I honestly am not sure how I found you, but this is the first of video of your channel I have watched. I must say you guys are very genuine people. I'm sorry for what you delt/ deal with in loss. I'm adding you guys and I'm glad I found you. I noticed you moved. Happy for you guys and I look fwd to your videos and your story.

  11. You may be interested in homeopathy for animals. It is quite powerful. There are good veterinary manuals for homeopathic treatment and kits to care for your animals
