I have been making my own homemade brown sugar for years now and I won’t ever go back. You can’t beat the fresh taste of homemade and it’s the most cost affect way to have organic brown sugar. I hope you try it!!

I had no idea you could make your own brown sugar, or that it is this easy. Wow. Just made some today and I am amazed! How neat, thank you for sharing! Love watching your videos and trying new things out!
If it does dry out and even turn into a rock, putting a slice or two of bread in the container with it will, I promise, Will soften it.
I just add in the molasses with the wet ingredients when I'm baking so I don't even have to store the brown sugar. I just make it on the fly so nothing to store or potentially harden later. Been doing this for years as well. We buy sugar by the 50lbs and molasses by the gallon, so this is very economical.
I had no idea how to make brown sugar thank you for sharing you recipe.
I'm 38 and I had NO idea brown sugar was just molasses and white sugar. I've always loved the taste of it more and I love eating molasses raw… but I had no idea lol.

Did I miss where you made molasses cookies or gave the recipe? Thanks.
Amazing
This is amazing. I love dark brown sugar and can’t get it where I live. I’ll surely make some for myself. Thank you ☺️
I’m so shook right now. This legit changes everything. ❤️❤️
Brown sugar is the molasses crystallized
I just bought brown sugar yesterday at the store but this is good to know!
I can't believe I've been wasting so much money on brown sugar for so many years! Who knew I've always had the ingredients right in my pantry 🙂 Thank you, I really enjoy all your videos.
So cool!
I did this recently because the price of brown sugar is ridiculous, where as molasses isnt that expensive considering how much brown sugar you can make with it. BUT, it also smells weird. It doesnt smell like what I buy from the grocery store, it smells like molasses. Im okay with it, and Ill do it again, but I think Ill try a different molasses.
I love the unit of measure : glugs of Molasses
I can’t find the recipe for your molasses cookies
I've been making mine for years. I live in rural Alaska and figured out how to do it by copying ingredients from an empty bag of brown sugar. Thank goodness for the kitchen aid, lol.
Could you share your cookie recipe? I don't see that on your scratch pantry site
I have a Pancetta I'm making, and the rub calls for 0.6% Muscodavo Sugar. I'm betting I can make my own using this recipe.
I made this with a little bit of molasses I had in my pantry from my oatmeal molasses bread recipe. I like it but since using it my cookie recipes aren't quite turning out. I don't know if it's the sugar or something else but I've started just using it for oats. Still great!
Might I say that I only found your videos this past week & I love what you’re doing. You’re bringing me back to my high school home economics class…do schools even teach that anymore, lol? Not to sound condescending, but I’m really proud of you! You’re a class act! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work. ❤️
