  1. I love your kitchen videos! Originally found your channel through the gardening content but it's nice to see you using your garden produce in the kitchen!

  2. I now live in Southeastern Alabama and finding Rhubarb is impossible. It is my Favorite Jam (next to plum) and my favorite pie. My grandmother used to make it every year from her garden…you are such a blessing to myself because you make canning and jams seem so much less complicated and with lower sugar amounts too. Thank you!!

  3. I’m so glad YouTube tossed you onto my feed!! I’ve really taken a liking to your homesteading & you are certainly inspiring me to stop watching tv & do more items from scratch. ❤️

  4. When I was a kid, my grandmother had a MASSIVE pear tree in her garden, and she canned enough pear jelly every year to keep the whole extended family in jelly, She also used Sure-Jell. Every now and then, one of her bathes wouldn't set, and she'd end up with pear syrup. We LOVED it! All of the cousins fought over those jars. We requested that she make some on purpose, and she tried a few times, but she couldn't purposely duplicate it. So, if your jam doesn't set up, release your inner Bob Ross, call it a happy accident, and enjoy!

  5. I get my farming/canning fix threw u! We have a free veg, fruit, food giveaway 3 times a wk and my friend is a food hoarder plus I have a tiny home and cant handle the heat so I dont can/cook n summer! But I get gifted alot of jams, ect!

  6. I love you videos , I am from Iraq , but I live in California and I cook only Iraqi food . However, when I stated watch your videos , I am cooking more American food and so far my family loved it . Thanks for sharing all the tips and great recipes

  7. Becky! Help me out. Have you done herbed butter or herbed oil? That's something my son is interested in and, frankly, I'm tired of hearing him talk about Brad! LOL. If so, is there a title I should be looking for? We LOVE using herbed olive oil but I do NOT like paying that price. Need to be careful for rancidity but figure if you have done that, I'd much rather follow your user friendly instructions w/explanations. Is it possible to every now and then talk about shelf life after either the jams have been opened or the spice mixtures will keep? And in your down time … (LOL) if you're looking for something to do, I'm sure MANY of us would love a book, even an ebook, to purchase on gifting. Thanks for all your efforts – we know there videos aren't easy on top of all the work that you're doing – which would go faster if you weren't filming it. Love you to pieces!

  8. With the lid shortage, what is your feeling about using wax to seal your jam jars only? It used to be done that way all the time.
What's your feeling about just filling the jars with hot jam, putting the lid on, and turning them upside down until they pop, signaling a sealed jar? Is water bathing for 10 minutes just to promote sealing?
