I made cheese dog biscuits for my dog, and brought some in for me friends did at work too. They smelled so good, those dogs didn't even get them, my fri ed nd are them, lololol

I have a small dog that came from a breeder who overbred. He has always been finicky and his stomach gets upset easily. He spent some time in the vet hospital years ago and they wanted me to buy very expensive wet dog food. After looking at the ingredients, I decided to start making my own treats and wet food. Liver and chicken gets dehydrated for treats ( I keep them frozen). I buy chicken or pork on sale, cook like I would for my family in a roasting pan, add my vegetables that are appropriate for dogs, debone, blend and then put in small freezer bowls and take a new one out once a week. They get a tablespoon every morning. Obviously, I have small dogs but my vet says that she would love to come back as one of my pets! Jill is a Maltese and just turned 14. Johnny is a Chiwienie and will be 12 in July. Our pet health is just as important as our children’s health. Thank you.

If you flour your cookie cutter I between ever cut you won't have them stick.
I have the same cutter but in thick plastic.

Love this will surley. Ake it. But egg shells are good for the dogs so will add it and salt is not good for dogs
Becky, if you lightly flour your cookie cutter, the dough won't stick to it when you cut the cookies!
freeze dryer definitely not in the budget, though the fun we could have! one day perhaps.. in the meantime, I was excited for treats using great ingredients, including the meat, however my nephew and his wife have a beautiful girl who just happens to be allergic to wheat in any form. while I myself am, and I am still learning the ins and outs of what I can use to replace.. I'm wondering if you may have tried yourself, or know anyone else who has used, alternative flours? 🙂 Your boys are beautiful..
I believe you said you used Penzy spices. If so, you may want to check out what their CEO just said…basically called Republicans racist. No matter anyone's views, this is totally unacceptable for a company to do.
I made your Peanut Butter, Pumpkin, Oatmeal dog treats. Use a Biscotti tip to ensure they’re dry enough. I baked mine for 35 minutes, cooled them on a rack, returned them to a baking sheet & baked for an additional 14 minutes.
You checked the ingredient of the peanut butter you using??? Be carefull of your pets what sugars etc you give them
Hi Becky. I’m a bit concerned and you may already be aware but I need to say just in case. I am sure you already check. Peanut butter can contain palm oil which is poisonous to dogs. I make my own dog treats and get peanut butter from our local health food shop who make theirs while you watch and it is just peanuts.

Raw food is not good for dog's hearts. A lot of vets are being more and more vocal at the increase of heart disease in dog's with raw diets since the fad started.
Does it matter what pb you use?
Can cats eat them?
