Beautiful garden!
Love watching your videos !! Love them thanks!!
So proud of you ,way to go Becky your a hard working young woman!!
An easy way to pickle your cukes is to do a fermented refrigerator pickle. You are growing dill and garlic, so you will have everything you need. Lots of recipes out there (this post will be too long if I wrote it down). I have a video out on my channel about the process. Happy gardening.
Becky, I just found you! You come across as the kindest, most genuine, Human being that I have ever come across. I love Gardening, Cooking and Family and you provide all three. God Bless you and your Lovely Family.
It isn't too late for cucumber seeds. They come up really fast when it is warm and get the lead out.
You’ve put in a very full day in your garden! Excellent job and hope you have a most productive harvest this year. Susan
So no pickle recipe from me, however I want to give you a heads up that some people swear by saltwater brining them in the fridge for up to a week until you have enough to can. It supposedly results in a crispier, crunchy pickle.
Either I did it wrong or these people can’t taste salt. Do not recommend brining.
Those boots are adorable! I always have a hard time finding shoes. I wear 12wide in women which is almost never available or nice looking… so I end up buying mens shoes and losing the cuteness. I've noticed they don't carry that size in stores much so I'm forced to buy online and hope they fit properly…. I love what you picked, makes me wana go shoe shopping =P
Out of curiosity do you till every year? We watched the kiss the ground documentary and found it fascinating. So we didn’t till last year or this year. Our output last year was INSANE and we didn’t even fertilize, using a few organic fertilizers this year and hoping to really increase our output. We found way more earth worms and other life in the garden this year and feel like not tilling it was hugely beneficial. All we do is mulch the garden with dead leaves at the end of the season and then weed by hand/with a hula hoe. Time consuming but so far has been well worth it.
Hope the corn grows and plentiful
Amazing job. Love when you're in the garden!
Loved this new style vlog!!! Another fabulous video Becky, appreciate you sharing with us.
I'm exhausted just watching you! Congrats on so much progress in the garden, looking great!
WHEW! I'm absolutely worn out just watching you, Becky, and wishing that I still had the energy and stamina to do what you do. But, at 85 & 3/4, my get up and go has got up and left. :- However, I enjoy watching your hard work and enthusiasm as I reminisce while remembering being the same when I was your age. Me thinks your harvest will be bountiful!! Thanks for the 'workout,' Dear! 😀 <3
Mantis XP are only meant for soil that has already been tilled.
You go girl, great job .
Fermented pickles are super good. My sister makes them with cucs, grape leaves, garlic, and dill she's grown herself.
It is so much fun to watch your videos, Becky! Thank you for sharing your garden, your kitchen and your cooking projects with us. Be blessed!!!!!!
I absolutely adore your channel. Your positivity and kindness is a breath of fresh air!
I’m currently on a pre-op diet for gastric sleeve surgery so I have had to avoid all your yummy food videos for the past two weeks but I’m looking forward to binge watching them during my recovery when I can eat a little more normally again.
Thanks for all the fantastic content you create 🙂
Just wanted to say thanks for all you do. Your videos are a bright spot for me and so encouraging x
