  1. So fun! If you’re in a self sustaining life do you get bread once a year? No joke man, how much wheat do you need to grow to get one loaf per week? Just askin?

  2. I planted five pounds of wheat seeds last fall. Bad weather in California where I'm at got me approximately two plants that produced this spring. I am not the only one that had a crop failure

  3. Great video… I bought my cat some wheat grass seeds that once it sprouted she wasn’t interested at all. I tossed the rest of the seeds in my raised bed and I ended up with a field of wheat, ok, a couple of square feet of wheat. I harvested it and ended up with a little over a pint jar full of wheat. That is as far as I got. Glad to hear that grinding and baking with it is the next step. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I'm watching this late at night, hours after supper, but now this made me hungry…. …. looks at time, hmm, a bit late for a night snack, but if I start now, I just might have my snack ready in about 7 to 8 months from now, yep, sounds good.

  5. I have been wondering about something, after I grew, harvested, and threshed a bunch of White Sonora Wheat last year. How hard would it be to put the harvested wheat into a tumbler? (like a rock tumbler with ball bearings) Or even make your own with a one of those rotating drum composters and toss in some Bocce balls to bash the wheat as you turn it…

  6. Can't imagine how scratching and itching it gets when harvesting and separating wheat using bare hands….this is what we do in Africa to earn a living… anyways good job guys

  7. Big respect to you ! Ive been small scale gardening but im finally in the process of moving out and i cannot wait to start my own personal food farm ! Ive watched almost all of your videos in preparation!
