I love the Cherokee tomatoes
Orange tomatoes taste like the sun
I loved this format! My go to is fruit such as blueberries and strawberries! I also have a lemon tree and fuyu persimmon tree.
Awesome video so cool to see the whole crew
Okra especially in warm climates. And tomatillos
Love you all!
awesome to see the squad , Yes Herbs , Herbs , Herbs
garlic is the king og the garden……so easy so cheap and so much better then the $3 a head organic or the 33 cents a head China garbage
The two things that I find myself growing every season no matter what are actually Tithonia Diversifolia and Muhly Grass. Neither of them are for eating but they are my reliable chop and drop fertilizers for nitrogen, carbon, and mulch. The food crops I grow benefit greatly from this powerhouse combination. My most persistent successes for actual food crops have been Everglade Tomatoes, Roselle / Hibiscus Sabdariffa, Sissoo Spinach, and Okinawan Spinach. All of these are great at tolerating the Florida heat.
Herbs Rule!
Must grow – bush cucumbers (heirloom), Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry, lettuces Winter Density and Forellenschluss.
You missed carrots and beets
Okra Okra Okra
Any tomato, cantaloupe & zucchini
Awwww…yummy yummmm yummmmmy
I had 6 absolutely beautiful squash doing really well, and some animal came and ate it ALL UP! every last leaf. 🙁
The cherokee purple is my favorite tomato as well. I think it almost taste like a beef to me.
Here are mine up in Toronto- tomatoes, zucchini, kale, Swiss chard, pole beans( literally still using beans that were from my grandpa 20 years ago- we call them ‘grandpa’s beans) beets, a herb garden and a variety of hot peppers!
Kale, It's the easiest plant I've ever grown. 200' feet of it and I have something to eat year round in N.C.
Yay for Summer Savory, Jacques! Several times a year, I order three 0.7oz/20g bottles of this favorite, dried herb via Amazon. Essential for my potato salad, bean soup, savory green bean dishes, etc. You’ve inspired me to grow it here in my Southern California backyard!!! Any extra tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Snap peas.
Hahahah that intro
I would add (preferable large) onions and sweet potatoes! I would love to grow chives but am totally confused on how to do that. I don't even know if they grow with green onions or garlic or something else entirely!
