Could you build your preserving kitchen before redoing your main kitchen. Then you can use that while your kitchen is out of use for a while?
I love the warm colors you picked. Try storing leftover soup in the quart jars that are in dishwasher then the crock pot is available.

I don't know if you got rid of the trim yet, but you might check with Habitat for Humanity for some of your trim, door hardware and other demo stuff.

Before you decide on doing curtains again or not, have a look at ceiling rail curtains. They are stunning and seamless and no poles or clips or curtain rings to worry about. Also they don't distract your eye from the stunning view!!!!

Just my personal opinion…..I think some nice sheer curtains would look good in that room…..Cause you could still see thru them… But sheers are always so pretty in rooms with large windows….Beautiful House !!!!
