YES on the habanadas. I make a habanada pepper sauce that is out of this world. I need to post my recipe at some point. A perfect winter task. Definitely a must grow every year.

Jess, your hair looks so cute that length! And I'm digging the sundresses. I need more dresses in my life. Also, I would love a video about how and when and what you use to fertilize your garden. We've had lots of successes, but nothing like 9 ft tall okra plants or peppers with that much fruit. Please share your wisdom?

First year growning okra in my tiny raised bed garden. It is huge–any suggestions on how to remove it because the stalks are literally like small trees. Need to make room for fall planting.
WOW , what a garden . My daddy use to grow Okra like that . He made a lot of rice dishes that he would add it to and stews . I would love to make that Holy Basil tea . It sounds amazing .
My habanadas are just filling the vines and oh my are there a ton of them . I can't wait to have some ripen and make some sauces too . I can't do the heat but I love peppers .
Oh Gorgeous Roses ! I can almost smell them!❣️The sunflowers look like a big bouquet and I didn’t know okra got that large, it must be a different variety. If one has space you can put down a cotton cloth and cover with a cotton cloth if you have a lot. Shuffle them around under the cloth so each parts can dry. I’ve used this to dry raspberry leaves. ( good for women’s tea).

I make a "sweet tea" concentrate and water bath can it. One half pint makes 1/2 gallon tea. I'm certain you could do the same with basil tea sweetened or unsweetened. There are some YouTube videos out there on how to make the sweet tea concentrate and how much to make a gallon, etc. (one pint makes a gallon)
can those elephant ear leaves be used to wrap food during cooking like banana leaves and others? would be cool if you do in ground roasted pigs.. lol! my daughter is a free spirited kid like asher is… love it so much how comfy they are with being themselves <3 🙂
So true about the tomatoes…eating them off the vine, still warm from the sun……the best.
I was very Sick in the spring and early summer (May thru Mid July) and even was in hospital for five days before they figured out what was wrong, bad intestine infection. Anyway I digress, I did not get to plant any vegetables in my large raised garden, and when I finally started feeling well enough to care about anything I would go sit by my garden bed on the patio for some strength that the sun can provide. I noticed a small but sturdy yellow crook neck squash plant trying to grow big and in another part of this raised garden there was three cherry tomatoe plants all in a row. This was a sign that God truly does provide, because that is one of my favorite summer dinners, squash and tomatoes sliced and cooked together with a little olive oil. He truly has our back!
